Breathe in the moment

Many people ask why I chose the French version of aromathérapie for my aromathérapie collection esprit de la Terre which means Spirit Of Earth.

The reason for this is two-fold, firstly I have had a long history of having a love affair with everything French, from the rustic beauty, language, food,  romance, growers markets, architecture, interiors, fashion to the allure of Chanel. And secondly, France is the world capital of everything fragrance, aromatherapy and apothecary.

The beautiful French village of Grasse is known as the fragrance capital of the world,  wherein the 19th century its abundant flower fields, now mostly replaced by villas, gave rise to a still-thriving perfume and aromatherapy industry.
