Herbal Salve - Rose

An all-natural soothing herbal salve made with antioxidant-rich, anti-inflammatory and anti-microbiological Rosehip Oil and Virgin Olive Oil that helps heal by encouraging tissue regeneration.

Unscented with no colouring agents or additives this herbal salve is a soothing remedy for eczema, rosacea, dermatitis, burns, aged skin and sunburn.  Great for reducing redness and healing stretch marks, sunspots (hyper-pigmentation), scars and acne.

Rosehip oil is rich in vitamins, antioxidants and essential fatty acids that help correct dark spots and hydrate dry, itchy skin, all while reducing scars and fine lines. Rosehip Oil reduces redness and eases inflamed, irritated, and flaking skin. It is brimming with anti-inflammatory and anti-microbiological properties that help promote wound healing and reduce scarring by encouraging tissue regeneration. 

Olive Oil contains vitamin E, antioxidants, and compounds such as squalene and oleocanthal help nourish and repair premature aging, skin pigmentation and skin damage.  Olive oil is non-toxic, anti-microbial, and hypoallergenic. 

Our Signature Botanical Infusion | The botanical nutrients found in our Herbal Salve Formulas are denser and of a higher quality due to the signature in-house Botanical Infusion method we use.  The 6-week process begins with nutrient-rich wild-harvested mullein and Sugarloaf Cottage organic lavender, rosemary and rose. Through a methodical, temperature-controlled, six-week extraction process, every ounce of nutrition is captured and optimally infused in virgin olive oil. The skin recognises the botanical molecules, and puts the nutrients to work, supporting its natural ability to heal and renew.  

How to Use | Apply it to affected areas on the face and body to reduce redness, eczema, dermatitis, dark pigmentation, scarring, stretch marks and rosacea. Also, a soothing salve to help relieve sunburn and can be used as a nourishing all-over face and body moisturiser, makeup remover or remedy for cracked heels. It is also useful for bug bites, nappy rash, scrapes and grazes. Store below 28°C and refrigerate if required. Discontinue if you develop any irritation.

• To prevent contamination use clean hands for application, avoid introducing moisture to the salve, and always keep the lid closed between uses.
• To ensure the best efficacy, our salves should be used within 12 months after opening. 
• Always keep the salve in a temperature-stable environment.
